Tutorial: one handed jibe.

Rider 80kg
Wing :Reptile Bora V2 5.0 SH
Board: Temavento 75L

Since I started winging about 3 years ago, I've always had wings with soft handles and despite repeatedly trying hard handles, I've never adapted to them. When I spoke to Andrea (Mr. Reptile) I specifically asked him for the version with soft handles.
But my surprise was to find 3 handles; the two classic ones, front and rear, long and stiff enough to always find the perfect position and a third small handle . After the first adaptation I started using the central handle, but as the only one grip for the sail, in practice it is a One Hand gait. Sure the first attempts were clumsy and I couldn't modulate the power but now I manage it very well, you can fly perfectly in trim even in switch, as well as ride the
small waves of the lake with that minimum of power that this style gives you. This handle also allows you to jibe One Hand, entering a gybe with only one hand, let the board slide on the curve, changing hands only on the new tack and always continuing One Hand.

The next step will be the One Hand tack... but that will be another report.
