Since I started using the Bora V2 SH, the one with the semi-rigid handles, I've been increasingly appreciating the three-finger grip; only the first three fingers hold the handle and the little finger stays out, in full biker style.

It was a natural, unwanted process but I found myself using this type of handle, perhaps my background as a trialist made me naturally use only three fingers.
The sensation is that of having more precise control of the sail, of being able to manage the power in easier and with less muscle tension. Returning to the motorcycle comparison, imagine having a clutch lever between your fingers if you used all four fingers to operate it this would operate mainly On-Off where it would be optimal to have modulation, instead with only three fingers the control is a lot more precise and delicate, almost soft.
In Wingfoil this also turns into a more comfortable gait and without too much strain forearm muscles, therefore: more time in the water, rapid improvements and more time for appreciate what we like most to do, surfing. Because after all, that's what we like to do, navigate as much as possible and without too many thoughts.
