Description

With the SUP paddle Cobra 60 we have reached a level of quality, attention to detail and unbeatable performance in this market segment. The blade  has a versatile shape, designed for  SUP Race competitions but also performing in the Wave. The size of the Blade, 83 inches / square can be used by people weighing 60 to 90 kg.

Blade

The shape of the blade is something unique of its kind. A year of prototyping in our laboratory gave birth to the new Diamond Spoon blade. We have increased the concavity in the central part of the blade, to make it slightly more powerful but also much more stable than the previous version.

Thanks to these improvements, the blade will slide in the water in a more silent, fluid and controlled way. The result will be less fatigue with a significantly reduced risk of injury, especially during longer sessions; this will allow you to focus your energies on improving technique, fitness and speed.

Shaft

There are two versions available for the Cobra 60 model:

  • Adjustable Shaft in 2 pieces, minimum size 175 cm, maximum size 225 cm. Fully closed The paddle measures 175 cm.
  • Adjustable Shaft in 3-pieces, minimum size 175 cm, maximum size 225 cm. Disassembled, the 3-piece Cobra 60 measures 100 cm. and can be stored in the backpack of the Sup board.

The Shafts are built using Pre-preg technology, the best ever for the construction of high performance tubular elements, the same we use to build our Windsurf masts.

T-Handle

The T-handle is also made of carbon fiber. Ergonomic, very light, suitable for intensive use, it too contributes to giving extreme lightness to the paddle.

more energy

Two lateral ribs, the dihedrals, are more pronounced. In this way they hold the water inside the "spoon" for a few more fractions of time, which translates into greater energy and thrust.

the diamond

The big news, the "diamond" positioned above the spoon and just below the blade coupling. The Diamond gives the paddling a stability never experienced before, and significantly stiffens the blade structure

blade angle

The Blade is inclined with respect to the shaft by an angle of 10 °. This will allow you to have a very efficient paddle without stressing your back, shoulders and elbows.

prepreg shafts

The Shafts are built using Pre-preg technology, the best ever for the construction of high performance tubular elements, the same we use to build our Windsurf masts.

hexa connection

Exclusive Hexagonal connection on the 3pcs paddle version. It avoids twistings.

anti twist system

Exclusive adjustable shaft with innovative antu twist system.

HOW TO ADJUST THE PADDLE

The Cobra 100 Adjustable 3-piece paddle has a variable length from 175 to 225 cm. The adjustment varies according to your height and its use.

- WAVE. For wave use, therefore to surf the waves, the paddle must be equal to your height. This is because in surf conditions, the rider's position is very low, bent over, with one foot in front of the other.

- CRUISING. For relaxed all-round Cruising use, the paddle should normally be 15/20 cm higher. compared to your height, so that you don't need to lean forward to have a great performance, but to paddle in a more relaxed way.

- RACING. For racing use and intense training, the paddle is usually 10 cm higher than your height. This is to lean forward well and use all the muscles you have, paddling efficiently for many km.

PADDLE CARE

The Cobra 100 paddle is very resistant but it is not indestructible. To try to make it last as long as possible and, in the first place, to make your outings safe, it needs a minimum of care and attention.

- Avoid adjusting it beyond the maximum allowed. Leave at least 20 cm of tube inserted inside its housing. That way you won't risk damaging it.

- Wash your paddle well after using it. Sand and salt can damage the material.

- The paddle is not a club, its element is water.

WARRANTY

Every Reptile Sports product undergoes rigorous quality controls during every single stage of production. Each item is weighed and measured to ensure that the technical characteristics meet the specifications. Non-compliant items are NOT placed on the market but destroyed.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and/or material defects with a duration of twenty-four months (24) from the date of purchase, in the case of sale to the direct user.

This date must be proven by a delivery document issued by the seller (e.g. tax receipt), which shows: the delivery date, the name of the seller, the identification details of the same (type, model).

Major defects in materials and workmanship

The defects of the materials, and in particular of the carbon composites, are normally highlighted in the initial use phase. If an item is faulty (and this can happen), it breaks after a few rides. Breakages that occurred after months of use are hardly attributable to material or production defects, but rather to shocks or stress following poorly performed maneuvers, impact with the seabed, whipping in the waves and finally inexperience. This does not mean that the guarantee is not recognized, but that a greater analysis of the parts in question may be necessary on our part to understand if the nature of the breakage occurred due to construction problems, wear or inexperience.
