Tutorial: Backwing

Materials and method:

Wing Reptile Bora V2, the only wing I've tried that allows you to sail thinking only about the pleasure of flying over the water.

75 L board.

Foil 1100 cm2.

You start by putting the board on a broad reach/stern, when you feel the apparent wind going to zero start to rotate the wing behind and over your head (preparatory to this maneuver is the Heniken jibe). Once the wing is behind stop the rotation and the sail will go with the strut to rest on your neck, at this point you can return the board to the beam and by rotating your shoulders you will decide how much power to have in the sail, try and you will understand that this maneuver it's much simpler than it seems and above all it's very cool.

The exit can be done in two ways, raising the arms and rotating them forward bringing the sail back to the correct position, picking up the wind or you can exit with a tack.
