In 2003 we were born as Reptile Masts, specialists in the production of masts that enhance the performance of sails. Nowadays, most sailmakers have adopted the constant / flex curve as ideal for the development of their sails. Of fundamental importance, therefore, in terms of performance, are the raw material with which a windsurfing mast is built, which we have already talked about, and the balance between the diameter of the mast and the thickness of its wall. With nearly 20 years of experience in the field of composite materials, the Reptile Sports windsurf mast collection can be considered the best alternative option for anyone who wants to enhance the performance of their sail. In twenty years we have also reached a level of constructive perfection and details to make our windsurfing masts real jewels.
So how to choose the correct mast for our sail? Thanks to our bend curves and IMCS measurement tool we have measured the masts of all brands over the years; we have also cataloged all the feedbacks of our riders and enthusiasts, in order to give real feedback on the numbers and perceptions during use. Not satisfied with this, in 2015 we did better: we INVENTED the Reptile REVERSE, the only mast in the windsurfing history with a reversible base, capable of obtaining two different curves. One mast, two curves. But that's another story!
